FREE TOOL · BONUS CONVERSION
Bonus value calculator
Pick the promo type, enter its amount and your own estimates, and see an expected value next to the cash you commit. It is a what-if estimate, not a promised return, and it does not check your eligibility.
Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser: nothing you type is saved or sent.
Formula and sources checked
Conversion percentage is your estimate of how much of the lower settled outcome is usable. Qualifying costs and fees are entered separately as expected loss.
Tools use the numbers you enter. They do not check live terms, eligibility, limits, account balances or whether a quote is still available. Legal betting age and eligible locations only. Bonus rewards are not cash. Terms apply; gambling involves risk of loss.
How is a sportsbook bonus valued?
Each promo type pays differently, so each has its own formula. A bonus bet is valued at the lower outcome of a cash hedge, times the conversion rate you enter. A deposit match is the deposit × match rate × the share you expect to keep after playthrough. A bet-and-get reward is the reward × your conversion estimate. A profit boost is the stake × (decimal odds − 1) × boost rate, and it pays only if the bet wins, so it is weighted by your win probability.
Qualifying costs and fees are subtracted at the end, so the expected value can be negative. Cash committed is the money you put in yourself, kept apart from the reward. Retention, conversion and win probability are your estimates: the calculator does not know the prices, limits or terms in your account.
Bonus rewards are not cash until they are converted and settled. How bonus bets work explains the stake rule and what each promo type pays.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between expected value and conditional value?
Conditional value is what the promo is worth if its condition happens, such as a boosted bet winning. Expected value weights that by your probability or retention estimate and subtracts qualifying costs and fees.
Why is a $100 bonus bet worth less than $100?
Because the stake is not returned when it wins. In our worked example, a $50 bonus bet hedged at typical prices keeps between about 37% and 61% of its face value.
What should I enter for retention or conversion?
Your own estimate of the share you will keep, between 0 and 1. If you do not know the playthrough, odds limits or expiry yet, check the offer terms in your account before relying on the number.
Does it check whether I qualify for the offer?
No. Age, location, new-customer status and the operator's terms decide eligibility. The calculator only uses the numbers you enter.
