OddsJam alternatives: free and paid tools compared
The right OddsJam alternative depends on the job. Some tools scan every sportsbook all day for positive EV betting and arbitrage. Some track your bets. doddo does one narrower thing: it turns the welcome and promo bonuses you already qualify for into an estimated cash value with a plan. We checked every price on the company's own site or app listing on October 7, 2026.
THE SHORT ANSWER
For converting sportsbook welcome and promo bonuses you already qualify for, doddo is free and builds a step-by-step plan with an estimated cash value. For a +EV and arbitrage feed, Outlier Pro at $79.99 a month is the cheapest paid plan here that includes both, against $499.99 a month for OddsJam Platinum. Crazy Ninja Odds has free scanners and calculators, and Pikkit is a free bet tracker.
We make doddo. It is listed first because this guide is about bonus conversion, the one job doddo is built for. The other tools get the same columns and the same plain pros and cons. doddo is free to use and may earn a commission from partner links; that does not change what a plan shows.
Before you take part. Legal betting age and eligible locations only. Bonus rewards are not cash. Terms apply; gambling involves risk of loss.
Meet the operator’s minimum age and be physically present in a permitted jurisdiction. Account verification, new-customer rules, opt-in, qualifying wagers, reward limits and expiry may apply. Bonus bets and FanCash cannot be withdrawn directly. Estimates are not guaranteed returns; qualifying bets and conversion can lose money. The operator’s current promotion terms control.
If you use a partner link, doddo may earn a commission.

You can open any of these tools anywhere in the US, but acting on one needs an account at a sportsbook licensed where you are, and you must meet its age rule (21+ in most states).

doddo
Best for Converting welcome and promo bonuses you already qualify for
doddo is not an all-day +EV or arbitrage scanner. It looks at the sportsbook welcome and promo offers you may qualify for, shows an estimated cash value where the terms are confirmed, and builds a step-by-step plan: the qualifying cash bet, then the bonus bet and its opposite-side cash hedge, with both settled outcomes shown. It sits in one Money Inbox next to settlement claims, bank bonuses and prediction market credits.

What does OddsJam cost, and what do you get?
OddsJam's App Store listing prices Platinum at $499.99 a month. Platinum unlocks positive EV bets, arbitrage, middles, low holds and the Promo Converter, which looks for ways to hedge bonus bets. The listing says OddsJam pulls odds from 150+ books and offers a 7-day free trial on all plans. Cheaper plans cover narrower jobs, such as Trends at $19.99 and Sharp Money at $199.99 a month. OddsJam also publishes a free bonus bet conversion calculator on its website.
Is there a free OddsJam alternative?
Yes, if you can do without a paid real-time feed. Crazy Ninja Odds has free pages for arbitrage, +EV, low holds and free bet conversion. Pikkit's free app tracks your bets and compares prices across more than 30 sportsbooks. For welcome and promo bonuses, doddo is free, and its free bet calculator works on its own: enter the bonus amount and both prices to see the cash hedge and both outcomes. OddsJam and Outlier publish free calculators too, but their scanners need a paid plan.
Outlier vs OddsJam: which costs less for positive EV betting?
Outlier costs less. Outlier's +EV feed, sharp book odds, arbitrage and middles come with its Pro plan at $79.99 a month. OddsJam bundles the same kinds of tools into Platinum at $499.99 a month. OddsJam publishes a larger book count (150+); Outlier does not publish one. Both offer a 7-day free trial, so you can compare the feeds on the sportsbooks you actually use before paying.
Will sportsbooks limit your account for +EV or arbitrage betting?
They can, and the clearest public data comes from Massachusetts. A September 2025 memo from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission's Sports Wagering Division found that bettors who consistently beat the closing line were more likely to have their limits lowered. On average, 0.64% of Massachusetts player accounts were limited as of December 10, 2024, and most of those were cut to between 1% and 24% of the default limit.
Sportsbook house rules allow it. DraftKings' Massachusetts house rules say it may refuse all or part of any bet "for any reason or no reason" and may lower a customer's maximum payout limit at its sole discretion. The commission's memo lists draft rules it could adopt, including requiring operators to tell players when and why they have been limited.
When is a paid +EV or arbitrage tool worth it?
A paid scanner earns its fee only if you place many bets every week across several funded sportsbook accounts, and you accept that winning accounts tend to get limited. The math is easy to check. In doddo's free bet calculator, a $50 bonus bet at decimal odds of 5.00 (+400), hedged at 1.18, keeps about $30.51 either way. At that rate you would need 17 similar conversions a month to cover OddsJam Platinum, or 3 to cover Outlier Pro.
- A paid tool can make sense if you bet most days, at several books, and track closing line value.
- A paid tool is usually more than you need if you are converting a handful of welcome bonuses, once each.
- Either way, set a cash budget for the hedge side of every bet before you start.
How is bonus conversion different from sportsbook arbitrage?
Sportsbook arbitrage puts cash on every side of a market when books disagree on price. The margin comes from the price gap, so it has to be repeated many times to add up. Bonus conversion, the US version of what UK guides call matched betting, puts a bonus bet on one side and cash on the other. The value comes from the promotion, so it ends when the bonus is used.
That is why doddo starts from the bonus you already have. A plan shows the qualifying cash bet, the hedge stake and the lower settled outcome before you place anything. A hedged conversion still has execution risk: a bet can be rejected or only partly accepted, a price can move, and limits apply. Our responsible gaming page links to independent support.

Frequently asked questions
Is OddsJam worth it?
OddsJam can be worth $499.99 a month if you bet most days across many sportsbooks and lean on its +EV, arbitrage and promo tools. If you only want to convert a few welcome bonuses, a free calculator or doddo covers the math, and OddsJam's 7-day free trial lets you test it first.
Is there a free OddsJam alternative?
Crazy Ninja Odds is free and has arbitrage, +EV and free bet conversion pages. doddo is free for converting welcome and promo bonuses you qualify for, though new accounts are on a waitlist, and Pikkit has a free bet tracker.
What is positive EV betting?
Positive EV betting means taking prices that are better than the estimated fair odds, usually measured against sharp books with the margin removed. Over many bets the edge should add up, but any single bet can lose, and sportsbooks tend to limit accounts that do it consistently.
Is arbitrage betting legal?
Arbitrage is not a separate kind of bet: it is ordinary wagers placed at sportsbooks licensed where you are, if you meet their age rule. Sportsbooks can still refuse bets or lower your limits under their house rules.
Will sportsbooks limit my account?
They may. Massachusetts regulators found that bettors who consistently beat the closing line were more likely to have their limits lowered, and DraftKings' house rules let it refuse all or part of any bet. Converting a welcome bonus is a one-time step, but the same rules apply.
Does doddo place bets or ask for my sportsbook login?
No. doddo does not place bets, link accounts or ask for sportsbook or bank passwords. You answer a few questions and place each bet yourself at the sportsbook. Pikkit's BookSync, by contrast, signs in to your sportsbooks to import bets.
